Dewsbury Rams Project Fund

The Dewsbury Rams Project Fund is an initiative designed to raise funds for specific projects that need to be undertaken at the club and around the stadium. It was started in 2006 by a group of supporters who wanted to help improve the stadium and it's facilities.

The first project the group took onboard was to raise funds to renovate & re-equip the players' gym. Thanks to the kind donations and fundraising efforts of supporters and club directors alike the fund reached it's target of £6000 in the Autumn of 2006.

All contributors were invited to the grand re-opening of the gym and are acknowledged with their own, group or company name engraved on a plaque which is proudly displayed outside the brand new players' gym.

Many thanks to everybody who contributed to Project One of the Project Fund.  They were:

Janet and David Roper, Kirklees Service Area, Mr. Jeffrey Hepworth, Elsie Fryer, Margeret and Doris Stephenson, The Rams Cheerleaders, Mark Sawyer, Phillip and Bryan Grove, Barbara Boffin, John and Chris Bellfield, Margeret Brearley, Lauren and Lucy Hall, Olivia and Laura Farrow, Neil Fahey, Peter Driver, Pat Ledwith, Peter Driver Jr., Clare Close, The Whittaker Family, Ken and Pat Humphrey.

Many thanks also to everybody who participated in the sponsored walk to Featherstone Rovers on Sunday 4th June 2006.

and also to the following people and their companies who have donated goods and services:

Paynters Flooring Services (carpet), Steve Archer (decorating), Pete Foster (plastering).

Project Two has not been started yet but keep your ears open for news about that in the future.
