suffering a shoulder injury which unfortunately
ended his season. |

Austin's into his second year with the Rams
following an impressive season last year and looks
to have pretty much secured his place in the first
team. He started playing at age 14 at Milford
and went on to play at Leeds, York, Castleford and
Wakefield. He was twice an Academy Winner with
Leeds, a NL2 Grand Final runner-up with York and the
following year won promotion from NL2 with York. |

Chappy was a major driving force behind the Rams' revival in recent seasons
and has been among the top try scorers since re-joining in 2004. Richard
began his career with Dewsbury Moor and has enjoyed a previous spell
with Dewsbury before making a name for himself at Featherstone, scoring
over 100 career tries along the way. He was unlucky in 2007
suffering a broken arm before the season started and
making just one appearance, only to suffer a repeat
of the break and miss the rest of the season.
He is looking to come back better than ever in 2008. |

played at Dewsbury Celtic and the Castleford Tigers Under 18’s and also

Kane joined
the Rams from Doncaster Lakers where, during 2006, he broke the Lakers
try-scoring record with 6 tries in one game. He had a great start to the
2007 season scoring 6 tries from just 8 appearances
before suffering a knee injury which kept him on the
sidelines for the remainder of the season. He began playing in his
home country of Rarotonga (Cook Islands) aged 7 and turned professional in 2005. He was part of the
2005 Hull KR side that lifted the Northern Rail Cup with victory over
Castleford Tigers. |

Cup Qualifiers during 2007. |

Tere is a new addition to the Rams for 2008 and
2009 and he adds enormous stability to the pack. The
Cook Islander came to the UK a few years ago and has
played for Oldham, Leigh and Castleford before
joining the Rams. He learned his trade with
South Sydney, playing 3 first grade games with the
Rabbitohs before further stints with Balmain Tigers,
Newtown Jets (two spells) and Wests Magpies. An
experienced international, Tere has been a regular
on the Cooks circuit for five years, representing
his country in the 2000 World Cup. |

stand-off for the senior academy side. Ryan can also operate in the
centres, which is where he usually featured during his stint with
Bradford's Academy. He was named as the Senior Academy player of the
year in 2006 but struggled with a niggling knee injury throughout 2007
which hindered his challenge for a 1st team spot.
He's hoping to get past his injury and make a push
for a 1st team place in 2008. |

one other club, which is Thornhill Trojans, where he started playing at
age 9. Since then he has represented Yorkshire Under 13s and was voted
Heavy Woollen Player of the Year at Under 16s. |

Deano is one
of several Rams squad members currently in their second spell at the
Tetley's Stadium. Local lad Lawford began his career at Dewsbury Moor
before being snapped up by Sheffield and then Leeds before returning to
Dewsbury with the Rams. He then moved onto Batley and up into Super
League with Widnes before joining Halifax. He made 25 appearance
at scrum half for the Rams in 2007. |

The Trindernator joins the Rams for the next two
season from Halifax. He's already made a big
impact an the pre-season friendlies and looks set to
be a massive part of the pack. He first played
for Harboard United at just 5 years old and went on
to play for Manly Seas Eagles, Newtown Jets and
North Sydney Bears. He was a Junior Kiwi in
1998 and 1999, played for NSW Maori Team in 2005 and
2006 and also New Zealand Maori Team in 2006. |
